Veterans Services

OlyCAP offers specialized services to veterans and their family members through two programs, VetConnect and Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF).

WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO

Vet Connect is an initiative of Olympic Community Action Programs, based in Jefferson County. Staff and volunteers reach out to Veterans and their families to provide information, referral, and assurance that the local community has resources to assist in many ways. Veterans or family members may walk in to VetConnect for assistance. We are located at VFW Post 7498 in Port Hadlock. Veterans may also contact us by telephone or email.  Callers receive a prompt response from a trained staff member or volunteer who will evaluate the need and provide information, referral, or arrange a personal meeting.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Volunteers are military veterans ranging from all branches and periods of service, dependents or family members of veterans, and others who feel a duty to support the veterans in their community.  New volunteers are always welcome.
