Sequim Senior Meals Location Change

Sequim Senior Meals is partnering with Shipley Center as a meal site starting August 1, 2015.

We are excited to announce that effective August 1, 2015 OlyCAP will be partnering with Shipley Center as the new location for the Sequim Senior Meals Program.

This is the first change in venue for the Sequim Senior Meals Program in over 20 years and the group of program partners could not be happier. OlyCAP Director of Community Services, Carolyn Anderson said, “We have such a great group of community partners and volunteers helping to support this program.  We are thrilled with this new location and look forward to working closely with Shipley Center.”

Starting in August 2015 meals will be served Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4:30 for a $5 donation from each guest. Reservations can be made by calling 360-683-8491 before 3:00 the day before. For additional information or help making a reservation please call Gabe at 360-683-8491. There will be no change in the senior meals schedule for June and July while the transition to the new venue is made.

Michelle Rhodes, Development and Program Manager at Shipley Center said, “We are very excited to be working with OlyCAP by hosting the Sequim Senior Meal Program at Shipley Center. As an organization we feel it is important that we are not only a place of Friendship-Recreation-Education for our members, but also a resource for the community.”

In 2014 there was a total of 5862 meals served and 6816 meals delivered in Sequim, through the Senior Meals Program. We are looking forward to continued great success in our new location. Please join us in celebrating our new Sequim Senior Meals home at Shipley Center.
